Description

These recordings of Doc Rodgers & The Rock Dodgers early attempts (rescued from an
Oxnard trailer park office vault), date back to the very beginning of what has become a
legendary music business story; a story of sheer determination, undaunted will power and
shameless greed that serves as a shining example to all aspiring artists to "never quit no
matter how many times you are physically thrown off the premises by security".
When you are told for the first time by some pointy head at some tiny insignificant minor
record label, “Don’t sit down! You won’t be here that long!”, just smile and remember the
Doc Rodgers credo: “If at first you don’t succeed…, try something else!”
